Removal and installation of nozzles

The fuel distributive highway with nozzles

Removal of one nozzle is described, the procedure for other nozzles is similar.

1. Remove the top covers of the engine, address the Section Removal and installation of the top cover of the engine.
2. Disunite the nozzle socket.
3. Remove the injection pipeline going to a nozzle. At an otvorachivaniye of a cap nut hold a nozzle a wrench.

Do not deform pipelines at removal. After removal close the pipeline on the ends. You watch that dirt did not get to pipelines. Check connecting cones of pipelines of injection. In the presence of dents replace the pipeline.

4. Press a lock bracket in the place of connection of the drainage pipeline and disconnect the pipeline.

The lock bracket remains on a nozzle. If to remove a bracket, it will need to be replaced with new.

5. Turn out the Torx screw on a coupling collar.
6. Take out a nozzle from a carving adapter together with a coupling collar by means of the corresponding screw-driver.

Strongly sitting nozzle is taken out by means of a shock stripper and the corresponding capture. If the stripper rests against a head of cylinders, turn off bolts of fastening of a cover of a head of cylinders or remove by means of a carving adapter of a nozzle.

At removal by means of a carving adapter the nozzle needs to be replaced in a set.

7. Clear a core and nozzles of nozzles a wire brush, at the same time a working part of a nozzle should be cleared only by means of well absorbing fabric. Before cleaning of the assembly mine in the mine close a nozzle opening a pin. Clear the assembly mine at first well absorbing fabric, then a round and cylindrical brush, then blow and close. After that once again clear well absorbing fabric and close. After cleaning take out a pin from a nozzle opening.

Clear the mine of a nozzle only a hand (it is not necessary to apply for this purpose a drill). The nozzle should not be sorted.



1. Grease with a thin layer of special lubricant a nozzle core in the area "and", for example, MERCEDES-BENZ 001 989 42 51 10.

Lubricant should not get on a working part of a nozzle and on a sealing ring.

2. Establish a nozzle into place with a new sealing ring and a coupling collar.
3. Screw the new Torx screw, without tightening it.

The screw has to be rolled easily. Otherwise the carving needs to be passed a lerka.

4. Turn off bolts of fastening of the fuel distributive highway. It is necessary for installation of the pipeline of injection without additional effort.
5. Fix by a cap nut the injection pipeline on a nozzle, without tightening a nut.
6. Tighten bolts of fastening of the fuel distributive highway the moment of 14 Nanometers.
7. Fix the new Torx screw of a coupling collar by the moment of 7 Nanometers. Then tighten the screw on a corner 90 ° (Ѕ a turn).
8. Tighten cap nuts of fastening of the pipeline of injection, holding a nozzle from a provorachivaniye. Moment of an inhaling of a new nut: 20 Of Nanometer, again applied: 25 Of Nanometer.

Do not exceed the inhaling moment at all. Otherwise at the following otvorachivaniye the carving union will be not to turn off.

9. Install into place the drainage pipeline and fix it a wire bracket.
10. Join the nozzle socket.
11. Establish the top covers of the engine, address the Section Removal and installation of the top cover of the engine.
