At a speed over 15 km/h, locking of the uniform lock of the car is made.

When opening one of forward doors unlocking of all locks of the car is made from within provided that the last unlocking of the uniform lock of the car was made by the device of remote control.

Inclusion and switching off of function of automatic locking of the uniform lock of the car was made by the device of remote control.

Inclusion and switching off of function of automatic locking of doors can be made in the VEHICLE menu (CAR) of the Individual Installation system, in the menu of the AUTOMATIC DOOR LOCK installation (AUTOMATIC LOCKING of DOORS). Press the switch:

1 — Locking
2 — Unlocking

The car can be unlocked or locked by the switch of the uniform lock from within. Locking can be made only if forward doors are closed.

Opening or closing of side glasses and the panoramic shifted roof panel (function of opening in summertime of year / comfortable closing)

Function of opening in summertime of year:

Comfortable closing: closing of the panoramic shifted panel of a roof and raising of side glasses is made.

For safety reasons inclusion of function of opening in summertime of year / comfortable closing can be made only from the next distance through infrared function of the device of remote control. Therefore direct an edge of a key to the handle of a door of the driver.

Function of opening in summertime of year:

Unlock the car, hold the button pressed until side glasses and the panoramic shifted panel of a roof do not reach required position.

Opening process interruption: Release the button.

Comfortable closing: Lock the car, hold the button pressed until all glasses and the panoramic shifted roof panel up to the end are closed.

Leaving the car, check whether all side glasses are lifted and whether the panoramic shifted roof panel is closed.

Opening of a door

1. Opening of a door outside

The door gives in to opening outside only if it was previously unlocked.

2. Opening of a door from within

The door gives in to opening as well at the locked car from within. When opening a door of the driver or forward passenger, both doors open.

Unlocking of a door is confirmed by a vydviganiye of the blocking button (3).

The driver's door (emergency opening of a door) can be unlocked and locked by an emergency key (2) and the driver's door (emergency opening of a door) is separately locked and the trunk lid is separately locked or released.

The anticreeping alarm system works when opening a door an emergency key. The disturbing alarm system can be switched off only having inserted a key into the switch of ignition or having pressed the buttons or on the main key.

Emergency unlocking of a door of a luggage carrier

The castle cylinder is in deepening for back registration plate.

If the luggage carrier door at malfunction does not give in to opening, then make release of a door of a luggage carrier an emergency key.

Turn an emergency key in situation (1) and pull for the handle.

The remark for the models equipped with the anticreeping alarm system:

The anticreeping alarm system works only when opening a door of a luggage carrier an emergency key. The disturbing alarm system can be switched off only having inserted into the switch of ignition or having pressed the buttons or on the main key.

Opening of a trunk lid

The handle is in deepening for back registration plate.

The trunk lid gives in to opening manually if before it the uniform lock of the car was unlocked.

Closing of a door of a luggage carrier

Lower a luggage carrier door, having pulled it for dredging (1) down, and close, having pressed from above.

Emergency unlocking of a cover of the hatch of the fuel tank

Turn a latch of the right side facing and take side facing aside.

Pull for the handle of release (shooter) and at the same time open a cover of the hatch of the fuel tank outside.

Loss of a key or emergency key

Charge to one of HUNDRED "Mercedes-Benzs" blocking of a key and immediately inform insurance company of loss of a key.

At loss of an emergency key it is necessary to replace mechanical elements of locks.

The new or emergency key can be got only on HUNDRED "Mercedes-Benzs".

General comments on system of locks

If the car does not give in to unlocking or locking:

Direct an edge of the main key to the handle of a door of the driver.

Check state of charge of batteries of the main key (materials at the beginning of the Section).

Open the car an emergency key. Insert a key into the lock of ignition and wait until the key in the lock of ignition does not give in to turning.
