Removal, installation and check of coupling

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove RKPP, address the Section Removal and installation of the check point.

2. Unscrew Torx screws of fastening of a basket of coupling (an arrow on an illustration) one by one on 1 – 1Ѕ turn so that to unload a disk. To exclude rotation of a flywheel at an otvorachivaniye of screws, hold it the screw-driver or a clamp. HUNDRED use the special tool (1) to this purpose.

If Torx screws turn away unevenly, it can lead to damage of diaphragm springs.

3. Then unscrew fastening screws completely.

Remember or write down the provision of the conducted clutch plate that at assembly to establish it in former situation.

4. Take out a basket and the conducted clutch plate.

Do not allow falling of disks at removal since otherwise after installation there can be problems in coupling work.

Check

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Check press a disk for existence of places of an overheat and flutes, if necessary replace.

2. Check wear of uvulas of diaphragm springs and their height, if necessary carefully turn in the ends of springs.

Wear of springs should not exceed 0.3 mm.

3. Check connections of a press disk and a basket for existence of cracks, and rivet connections on durability. Replace a basket with the damaged or weak rivet connections.
4. Before installation of new coupling remove from frictional surfaces with solvent a sheeting of new coupling. Then smooth out a rough emery paper frictional surfaces of the conducted and press disks.
5. - replace the greasy or mechanically damaged disk.
6. Check the bearing of switching off of coupling in a transmission casing for noise existence, leakage and wear, if necessary replace.

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Clear shlitsevy connections of a clutch plate and main shaft of the transmission and grease with a thin layer of MoS2-lubricant, for example, of MOLYKOTE BR 2.

You do not apply too much lubricant, otherwise it can get on the frictional surfaces of coupling that will result in malfunctions in coupling work. The necessary amount of lubricant corresponds to the corn grain size.

At engines with a two-mass flywheel shlitsevy connection has a covering nickel that excludes need of lubricant. A sign of a two-mass flywheel is lack of the damping springs.

2. Center a clutch plate by means of the corresponding drift, for example, of HAZET 2174 or an old secondary shaft of the transmission. If the clutch plate is not centered, later it will not be possible to enter a secondary shaft of the transmission.

3. Install a basket of coupling with the aligned clutch plate on the corresponding pins in a flywheel.
4. Screw by hand screws of fastening of a basket, then tighten cross-wise in stages, every time on 1 – 1 Ѕ a turn.

At an inhaling you watch that the basket evenly nestled on a flywheel. The moment of an inhaling is specified in Specifications.

5. Take out the aligning drift.
6. Remove the lock tool on a flywheel if it was established.
7. Establish to the place of RKPP, address the Section Removal and installation of the check point.
