Removal and installation of the back shock-absorber

Models without adjustment of clearance

In case of repair shock-absorbers, irrespective of manufacturing firm, need to be replaced everyone separately. However execution of the shock-absorber has to correspond to the color marking applied on it.

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Disconnect side facing of a luggage carrier and take out it, address the Section Removal and installation of facing in a cargo compartment.

Shock-absorbers at the same time serve as an elastic emphasis for back wheels. Therefore the top support of the shock-absorber should be disconnected only at the car standing on wheels that the axis did not fall down at a shock-absorber detachment. If the car is lifted, it is necessary to prop up the spring lever a garage jack.

At a detachment of the top part of a suspension bracket it is not necessary to allow rotations of a rod of the shock-absorber. Otherwise there can be a cylinder detachment. There is a danger of not special case!


2. Execution 1: Turn off a wrench a lock-nut (2) and a nut (1) of fastening of the shock-absorber. At the same time the rod needs to be held a wrench for lysk (3). It should not rotate.

3. Execution 2: Turn off a wrench the self-stopped nut (1) of fastening of the shock-absorber. At the same time the rod needs to be held a wrench for lysk (3). It should not rotate.

4. Remove a washer (4) and the rubber shock-absorber (5).
5. Lift and establish a back part of the car on supports.

6. Turn off 2 bolts of fastening (1) of a cover of the spring lever (2) and uncover.

7. Turn off a nut (1) at the spring lever and take out a bolt of fastening (2) with a washer.

8. Take out the shock-absorber from the spring lever and an opening in a frame. For simplification of removal of the shock-absorber press it from above through an opening in the spring lever. The shock-absorber is taken out back.


Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Check the shock-absorber for smoothness of the course before installation.
2. Check rubber details for existence of cracking and damages.
3. Insert the shock-absorber so that the digital marking put with paint specified back.
4. Insert the shock-absorber at the spring lever. Establish a bolt with a washer. Screw the new self-stopped nut and tighten its moment 55 Nanometers.
5. Record a cover of the spring lever and fix it by two bolts.
6. Slowly lower the car, at the same time enter the shock-absorber into the top opening.
7. Put on a shock-absorber bar from salon a rubber damper and a washer. Fix new самосопорящуюся a shock-absorber bar nut by the moment of 30 Nanometers, holding at the same time a cylinder rod from a provorachivaniye. When fastening by two nuts: Screw a new nut on a shock-absorber bar and tighten its moment 15 Nanometers, holding a cylinder rod from a provorachivaniye. Screw a new lock-nut and fix by its moment 30 Nanometers, holding the lower nut from a provorachivaniye.
8. Establish into place facing of a luggage carrier as it is described in the Section Removal and installation of facing in a cargo compartment.
